This past weekend I picked up a model boat at a flea market, something I had been wanting for awhile. Luckily I happened to find the perfect one. I thought it was funny though because when I was a kid things like this seemed so lame, but now being older I have some sort of appreciation for things like this... I also bought a globe months ago and when I was little I know I hated those things because I thought of school and I didn't like that. 

Summer...

Well it's summer now and I'm hoping I can use this break to get some work done that I want to accomplish and one thing I'd like to do is maybe start on some prints that are just graphic and focus a lot on text...

I'm currently taking Design II in the art department and just finished up my first project which was an entirely based Illustrator based assignment. It could really be about anything that describes us and for whatever reason I have this profound fascination for space and videos like this. So I decided to make space themed postcards that were graphic, bold and also attempted simplicity and consistency.

Welcome back my IARC friends! Break is over, it was nice (short) while it lasted but today I was able to get some stuff done around the house which was great and even able to hang this sweet print I purchased a while back.

So this month I've decided to try out something a bit different for me and that's to grow a mustache for a good cause know as Movember. I am to grow a mustache for the month of November to raise awareness for men's cancer and I'm pretty excited to try this out! So check out my page here and maybe even donate to my team.
