Studio began this year by being given a statement in which every student was assigned a college for the 2011 Solar Decathlon. The school I was elected was Middlebury College (4th place overall), a small liberal arts college in Middlebury, Vermont. For this project we were to study intensively our school and produce ten original diagrams, five original 3D models and fifteen photographs taken by ourselves when we physically ventured up to Washington DC to see the competition first hand.
